The Da Vinci Business Park is located at Brisbane Airport, consisting of 12 office and warehouse buildings.

The Main Office has been awarded a 4 Star Green Rating from the Green Building Council of Australia for its sustainable and environmentally sound design.

The land surrounding Brisbane Airport is extremely flat, and prone to flooding. BG Civil was required to develop creative solutions to ensure that the Da Vinci Business Park would achieve the required flood immunity levels. Extensive Bulk Earthwork designs were undertaken.

The first floor utilised timber framing, with the ground floor and footings constructed of concrete. A series of masonry block retaining walls were used.

A balance in the cut/fill operations was undertaken to help maximise usable space, minimise project costs and account for the two meters of cross fall over the small site. Then a series of bored piers were used under the ground slab in the fill region to mitigate differential settlement.
