DESCRIPTION OF CIVIL SYSTEM

BG Civil conducted a hydraulic analysis to determine the overland flow extents and effects on the proposed development. Pre and Post modelling was completed to establish the impact of the development on the flood level and surrounding properties.

Using the data generated from this analysis, BG Civil could successfully established a safe floor level and suspend the building above any potential flooding risks.

SIGNIFICANT ASPECTS

The proposed development consisted of 2 character homes, which could not be removed, and therefore were incorporated into the townhouse design.

This site is located in a flood prone area of Greenslopes/Coorparoo, with the site itself flooding to a level of 5.5meters (Q100 Level).
